1. Nature of the Platform

Becart24 is an online marketplace that enables independent third-party sellers ("Vendors", "Sellers") to list, market, and sell products directly to buyers ("Buyers", "Customers"). Becart24 acts solely as an intermediary/marketplace facilitator under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. We do not manufacture, own, or hold title to the products listed on the Platform unless explicitly sold by Becart24 directly.

Becart24 is not a party to the contract of sale between a Vendor and a Buyer. Each transaction is a direct contract between the Vendor and the Buyer, subject to the Vendor's own listed terms, which must not conflict with these Terms or applicable law.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to use the Services. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

3. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at [Support Email] of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Vendor Obligations

Vendors registering to sell on Becart24 additionally agree that they will:

• Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, images, stock availability, and applicable taxes (including GST) for every listing.
• Hold all licenses, registrations, and permissions required to sell the listed products (including GST registration, FSSAI licenses for food items, BIS certification where applicable, etc.).
• Fulfil confirmed orders within the timelines committed at checkout, and keep inventory updated to avoid overselling.
• Not list counterfeit, prohibited, restricted, or unsafe goods, or infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Honor the Platform's Refund & Return Policy and cooperate with Becart24 in resolving Buyer complaints and disputes.
• Be independently responsible for the quality, legality, and safety of the products they list, and for compliance with applicable consumer protection, taxation, and product-specific regulatory laws.
• Pay applicable commission, payment gateway, and platform fees as disclosed in the Vendor Agreement/Seller Dashboard.

Becart24 reserves the right to remove any listing, suspend, or terminate a Vendor account for violation of these obligations, at its sole discretion, with or without notice where required by law.

5. Buyer Obligations

Buyers agree to:

• Provide accurate shipping, billing, and contact information.
• Pay the full amount due for orders placed, including applicable taxes and shipping charges.
• Use the Platform only for lawful personal or business purposes and not to defraud Vendors or Becart24 (e.g., false claims of non-delivery, chargeback abuse).

6. Pricing and Payments

• All prices displayed are set by the respective Vendor and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated on the product page.
• Becart24 uses third-party, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways to process payments. We do not store your full card or banking credentials.
• Prices, offers, and discounts may change without prior notice and do not apply retroactively to orders already placed.
• In case of a pricing or listing error due to a technical glitch, Becart24 and/or the Vendor reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

7. Order Cancellation

Buyers may cancel an order before it is shipped/dispatched by the Vendor, subject to the cancellation window shown at checkout. Once an order is shipped, cancellation is not guaranteed and the matter will be governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Becart24 and/or Vendors reserve the right to cancel any order due to: unavailability of stock, inaccurate pricing, suspected fraud, delivery-area restrictions, or violation of these Terms — in which case any amount paid will be refunded.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timelines shown on the Platform are estimates provided by Vendors or logistics partners and are not guaranteed. Becart24 is not liable for delays caused by courier partners, force majeure events, incorrect address information, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the Becart24 name, logo, design, and software — is the property of [Company Legal Name] or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Vendors retain ownership of their own product content but grant Becart24 a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and promote such content on the Platform and in marketing.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload viruses, malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform's systems.
• Scrape, resell, or misuse data obtained from the Platform.
• Post false reviews or manipulate ratings.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

11. Reviews and User Content

Any reviews, ratings, images, or comments you submit must be honest, non-defamatory, and free of third-party rights infringement. Becart24 may remove content that violates these Terms and reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor user-generated content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Becart24's liability, where it acts purely as a marketplace facilitator, is limited to facilitating the transaction and does not extend to defects, delays, or damages arising from a Vendor's product or conduct.
• Becart24 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Becart24, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, or violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, the details of our Grievance Officer are:
